The Smith Family This photo was submitted by descendants of the Smith Family at the annual service at Old Scotland Presbyterian Church in August 2006. At the time, they were trying to identify the various people in the photo. They knew that the photo was taken at the Smith home in Old Scotland, and they suspected that some of the people in the photo included John Davison Smith, Capell Smith, but they were looking for more information. Thanks to a copy of the 1966 Monroe Journal Centennial Edition, kindly furnished by Julia McMillan Emanuel, I was able to find a copy of this photo, identifying the people in the photo.
